We will teach you how to prepare the dogs and sled /wagon, and how to drive. All our dogs are nice to people, they are very happy to meet you and really appreciates cuddling. Two persons will be sharing one sled, one driving and the other one enjoying the view comfortably from the sled. You will switch places halfway.
The trip goes through parts of the beautiful valley Reisadalen, and turns at a viewpoint. From here we will go to a camp hidden in the wilderness. You can enjoy the scenery, while we prepare a campfire and some refreshments. There is also a lavvo, a traditional sami tent available, in case of bad weather.
After enjoying the silence and nature, we return to Vinnelys and make sure the dogs are resting happily in their houses. If you want to, join in when we feed them. They also love cuddling after a trip. Perhaps you will find your own favourite? We'll gladly take your picture.
On all our tours, you will get to know the dogs and learn to drive dog sleds. We also have a round of dog cuddling and a photo session for those who are interested.

The age limit for driving yourself is 16 years old – if you are younger you can only participate as a passenger.
We advice all our customers to activtely participate in the activities to have the best possible experience.
If you have poor health we advise you to not book one of our tours, because dog sledding is a demanding activity.
